Cebu City — Despite her absence, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago turned out to be one of the big favorites among presidential candidates as far as those who attended the second presidential debate at the University of the Philippines-Cebu campus are concerned. Based on the initial results of a survey booth set up by TV5 inside the UP Cebu ground, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte received the most number of thumbprints from among the five presidential candidates with more than 200. Santiago gained the second most number of thumbprints among the attendees. Mar Roxas, Jejomar Binay and Grace Poe were almost equal at less than 20 thumb prints. Those who attended the presidential debate were given the chance to post their thumbprints at the survey booth under the name of their preferred presidential candidates. The survey started at 9 a.m. and was still ongoing as of this writing at 4 p.m.
