Employees in government corporations would soon enjoy higher salaries and incentives based on a new directive issued by President Aquino. The President has signed Executive Order No. 203 adopting a Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS) for the government owned and controlled corporations (GOCC) sector. The CPCS, developed by the Government Commission on GOCCs, allows a competitive compensation and remuneration system that aims to attract and retain talent while keeping the financial stability of the GOCCs.
