The Liberal Party (LP) yesterday poked fun at claims made by the camp of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte that the PDP-Laban standard-bearer will be subjected to a smear drive by the administration party, saying he has been on a self-destruction mode on the campaign trail. LP spokesman Miro Quimbo denied the Duterte camp’s accusation that LP is hatching a black propaganda campaign against the tough-talking Davao City mayor. “We don’t have to blacken the image of, or do a demolition job on Mayor Duterte since he has been doing it on himself,” said Quimbo, a Marikina City congressman. Earlier, Peter Laviña, spokesman for Duterte, aired suspicions that LP is “hatching up a black propaganda and psychological war operations” against Duterte.
