With just a few weeks before the May 9 elections, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) website was hacked last week by a group affiliated with Anonymous Philippines. It got into Comelec’s database, warned that it would be closely monitoring how it will administer the elections, and asked it to implement the security features of its counting machines.
