Senator Grace Poe, chair of the Senate subcommittee on transportation, yesterday said the five-hour power outage that hit the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-3) over the weekend was not only embarrassing but downright frightening. Poe said she finds the situation alarming and urged transportation officials to prevent similar incident from happening in the future as it exposes the risk of air passengers’ safety in the Philippines. “It’s not only embarrassing – it’s frightening.
