Amid the recent beheading of one of its nationals by the Abu Sayaff, the Canadian government has called for better protection of foreign tourists, who will be visiting Philippines. “We would like to see more foreign tourists choosing the Philippines as a destination of choice. And obviously security and safety for foreign tourists and community is very, very important.
