China’s offer to construct a Railway System from Manila to Clark is “a positive sign for the development of Clark International Airport (CRK)” according to local airport executives. Chinese diplomats recently offered President-elect Rodrigo Duterte a proposal to build a railway system from Manila to Clark in just two years. “The ambassador said, ‘We will do your Clark-Manila railway. We’ll use the shortest way.’ I don’t know how they’ll do it. But we will complete it in two years,” Duterte stated in his speech this Tuesday, June 21. China has built railways in Africa and could do the same in the Philippines, the Chinese ambassador assured the incoming president. “It’s a welcome development,” Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President and CEO Atty.
