The New York Times Styles, through a live post in its Facebook account, shared about how the Big Apple honored one of its illustrious citizens. “Bill Cunningham turned our streets into runways and New Yorkers into models,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement following the death of the legendary New York Times photographer. For decades, Cunningham rode his bike a short distance from his apartment to the corner of 57th Street and 5th Avenue to take photos. Last week, New York City honored him by renaming the intersection as Bill Cunningham Corner. Bill Cunningham. photo courtesy of PageSix.com
