By AFP and Nick Giongco Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao confirmed yesterday that he is coming out of retirement to fight World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Jessie Vargas in November in Las Vegas. The 37-year-old, who has won world titles in eight weight divisions, made the announcement after meeting Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum in Manila Tuesday. Over dinner where Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee and Canadian adviser Mike Koncz were present Arum discussed with Pacquiao the details of the scheduled 12-round world welterweight title fight which will be held at the 20,000-capacity Thomas and Mack Center. Koncz flew in from the US with Arum Monday morning. “Yes, the fight is on.
