Hail, squall, heat in the south: storm warning issued for almost all of Kazakhstan

An extreme fire hazard remains, with high fire risk in the northwest. In Uralsk, short-term rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls are expected during the day. Mangystau Region — light rain and thunderstorms are expected in the south of the region during the day. Intense heat of 38-42 degrees Celsius is forecast for the daytime. An extreme fire hazard remains in the west and north of the region. In Aktau extreme fire risk persists.

Abai Region — rain and thunderstorms are expected, with heavy rain, daytime hail, and squalls in the north, south, and center of the region. Fog is forecast for the north during the night and morning hours.
