Citus experts: summer has gripped Vilnius and Kaunas; market activity resembles 2018, but price and supply dynamics have swapped places
The first month of summer was quiet on the real estate market, with 130 new apartments and terraced houses sold in the capital and 71 in Kaunas. Supply is very reluctant to fill up, and the uncertainty in the commodity markets is not going away, which is cooling demand and forcing developers to be more cautious in assessing risks and weighing each sale. The result is a more pronounced summer seasonality than usual.
