  The Blues goalkeeper performed well in Belgium's first Euro 2016 Group B qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina - which the Red Devils won 3-1 - after making several saves after the hour mark to keep his side's lead in tact. He then kept a clean sheet in his nation's second qualifier against Cyprus.

• 2/14 Eden Hazard (Belgium) 4/5

  Last season's PFA Player of the Year scored in both of Belgium's qualifiers, winning and converting a penalty against Bosnia-Herzegovina and then scoring a late winner against Cyprus that leaves the Red Devils within touching distance of qualifying for Euro 2016. Despite his goals, though, Belgium manager Marc Wilmots said Hazard was the "worst" player against Cyprus and said he expects "more from him". Still, the winger's goals proved the difference for his nation and so Hazard will walk away from the international break feeling happy - but still focused on improving his form for both club and country.

  France coach Didier Deschamps opted not to play Zouma in Les Bleus' friendly win over Portugal last week, keeping the defender on the bench during the game, while the Chelsea man was not included in the team that beat Serbia 2-1 on Tuesday.

• 4/14 Asmir Begovic (Bosnia) 3/5

  Chelsea's second-choice goalkeeper had some positive moments during Bosnia-Herzegovina's qualifier against Belgium, but he ended up conceding three goals in a 3-1 defeat. However, Begovic kept a clean sheet against Andorra and so returns to London after enduring a mixed set of results.

• 5/14 Branislav Ivanovic (Serbia) 4/5

  The under-performing Chelsea right-back enjoyed a good international break after helping Serbia record their first victory in Euro 2016 qualifying against Armenia. The defender then put in a strong performance against France, although his nation were ultimately edged out by Deschamps' side.

• 6/14 Nemanja Matic (Serbia) 4/5

  The midfielder started both of Serbia's games, like Ivanovic, and formed part of the team's solid defensive unit against France. Matic even tried his hand at scoring after firing a shot at Hugo Lloris in Bordeaux, which didn't trouble the goalkeeper, but demonstrated his desire to get involved in attacks as well as the defensive side of things.

• 7/14 Pedro (Spain) 3/5

  Displayed the pace against Slovakia that Chelsea fans have seen from the winger during his short time in the Premier League, but he then did not feature in the 1-0 win over Macedonia. His good work down the flank was important in helping La Roja create attacks, although Pedro's final ball was not as accurate as usual.

• 8/14 Cesar Azpilicueta (Spain) N/A

  Was included in Vicente Del Bosque's squads to play Slovakia and Macedonia, but was not given any playing time as Jordi Alba was preferred to the Chelsea man.

• 9/14 Cesc Fabregas (Spain) 2/5

  Was taken off with 20 minutes to go against Slovakia after being unable to make an impact for Spain from his midfield position. He did have some good spells, though, but not enough to warrant Del Bosque playing him against Macedonia, with Fabregas spending the entire match on the bench.

• 10/14 Diego Costa (Spain) 3/5

  The striker failed to end his goal-scoring drought for Spain during this international break, and was substituted in both of his adopted nation's matches. Despite winning a penalty against Slovakia, he struggled adapt to Spain's game - which resulted in Fabregas running to his defence afterwards. However, Costa fared much better against Macedonia although he was hauled off after the hour mark following an earlier yellow card.

• 11/14 Gary Cahill (England) 3/5

  The defender did not play in England's 6-0 thrashing of San Marino, but played the full 90 minutes against Switzerland where he handled his opponent's attacks comfortably enough. However, Cahill looked shaky at times which will not comfort Mourinho although the defender is likely to return for the Everton game in high spirits following England's qualification to Euro 2016.

• 12/14 Willian (Brazil) 5/5

  The winger impressed in Brazil's first friendly game of the break against Costa Rica after helping in both attack and defence before playing a key role in Hulk's opening goal against USA. He was substituted in both matches, but was undoubtedly one of Brazil's brightest players.

• 13/14 Abdul Baba Rahman (Ghana) 2/5

  Started Ghana's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda - which they won 1-0 - but did not have the best of games as he was regularly targeted by the opposition's wingers.

• 14/14 Bertrand Traore (Burkina Faso) N/A

  The forward missed Burkina Faso's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier to Botswana, which the nation lost, with a hip injury sustained beforehand.
