KZN cops seek dead man's family
Police are trying to locate the relatives of a man whose partially decomposed body was found at the Msunduzi river, which passes through Pietermaritzburg.
|||Durban – Police on Thursday said they were trying to locate the relatives of a man whose partially decomposed body was found at the Msunduzi river, which passes through Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
KZN police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane said the body was found at the Bhobhonono area of the river by community members on Wednesday evening.
The man is described by police as an African male who was wearing a red and white striped t-shirt and a pair of navy blue pants.
Police estimate that the man was between the ages of 39 to 43-years-old.
“Anyone who may have information regarding the deceased may contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Nqobile Nzama at Umsunduzi police station on 031 782 8955 or Crime Stop 08600 10111,” said Zwane.
