Stalled big-rig cleared from eastbound lanes of Bay Bridge
Two eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge were closed about two hours Monday afternoon because of a stalled tractor-trailer rig, California Highway Patrol officials said.
A call came in reporting a large truck with a trailer was blocking lanes No. 4 and 5 around 1:45 p.m. said Officer Ron Simmons, a CHP spokesman. The trailer was cleared from the area shortly before 4 p.m., officials said.
Drivers can expect some traffic backup throughout the evening commute, Simmons said.
