Guys, this is the one thing you need to keep your dress shirts clean

By Roberto_Ventre on flickrI'll admit, I was skeptical about using The Laundress' Classic Wash and Stain Bar on my and my boyfriend's dress shirts — the collar stains on them seemed really set in. If regular detergent didn't remove them during a rinse cycle, then how was I to think a 2-ounce bar of soap was going to be able to eradicate them? Since a friend of mine had already given the bar a glowing endorsement, I bought the thing anyway.

Per the user instructions, I lathered each shirt's problem areas with water and worked the soap into the stains, then I laundered as normal with the rest of my clothes. To my surprise, the shirts came out of the wash looking newer than I'd seen them in months. They didn't look new new, but all things considered, the outcome was a great improvement on what the shirts looked like pre-stain bar.  

For those unfamiliar with The Laundress, it's an eco-friendly line of detergent, fabric care, and home-cleaning products. The company isn't just just ridding your clothes of set-in stains and making your whites whiter, though.
