Jack Wilshere: I'm out to prove everyone wrong and kick-start my career at Bournemouth
Jack Wilshere has revealed he chose to go on loan to Bournemouth to "prove everyone wrong" and try and reignite his career at parent club Arsenal.
The England midfielder sealed a season-long loan move to Eddie Howe's side on transfer deadline day after making just three appearances for the Gunners last season as injuries marred his campaign at the Emirates Stadium.
Wilshere made his Bournemouth debut after coming on as a second-half substitute in the Cherries' 1-0 home win over West Brom on Saturday, and afterwards admitted he made the move to the club to work on his fitness and play as many games as possible.
"If there is any question mark about me, I know it's about my fitness," he told BBC Match of the Day.
"Hopefully I can play as many games as possible, prove everyone wrong and then [reignite] my career."
He added to Bournemouth's official website: "The biggest aim for me, and I am sure everyone is aware of it, is to get as many games as possible. That was the idea coming here.

"It was also good to come on for my first minutes and get used to the way that the boys play. It's similar to the way I am used to playing at Arsenal. I can fit into this team.
"I came on in the number 10 position and then moved to the right for the team. I can do that role and I can also play deeper. I am comfortable in all of those positions. Different games bring different problems, so we will see."
