Korea is interested in cooperation with Armenia in fields of energy, infrastructure and high-tech - Trade Minister
ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by South Korean Trade Minister
Dukgeun Ahn.
According to the Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan emphasized
the importance of the consistent development and strengthening of
trade and economic relations between Armenia and Korea and welcomed
the delegation's visit to Armenia. The head of the Cabinet of
Ministers expressed hope that the negotiations held in Yerevan will
give a new impetus to economic cooperation, expansion of business
ties and will contribute to the implementation of investment programs
in various directions. The Prime Minister emphasized that an active
political dialogue has been established between Armenia and the
Republic of Korea and the Armenian government is interested in
expanding cooperation.
South Korean Trade Minister noted that the delegation he heads also
includes businessmen and representatives of various organizations and
that the Korean side is interested in cooperation in the fields of
energy, infrastructure and high technology.
The interlocutors also considered cooperation in the fields of
agriculture and tourism promising. The parties expressed confidence
that concrete agreements would be reached as a result of the
discussions.
