NYFW: 5 Trends We Love From The Longchamp SS20 Collection
Spring 2020 is looking bright!
The French luxury brand blesses us with the finest fashion collection that is to-die-for: bold and colourful. Fresh off the runway, Longchamp enlightens New York with its Summer Spring 2020 collection inspired from the 1970s’ and 1990s’ eye-catching styles. According to the Creative Director of the brand, Sophie Delanfontiane, the collection recalled the colourful artwork Judy Chicago that visualize women’s day-to-day lifestyle.
The collection is all about modern glamour. From the bad-ass leather materials, to playful colour palettes and psychedelic ’70s prints that do the talking, you can rock the trend with confidence and fun anywhere! With that, here are the five trends we love from the Longchamp’s Spring 202o collection:
#1 Leather
Toughen up your wardrobe with plenty of leather. The room leather jacket envelope knitted two-piece sets are some our favourite from the collection. The combination of maroon and black leather skirt combination as a whole look? Yes, please!
#2 Orange is the new black
Longchamp takes power dressing to a whole new level with a soft orange tone that looks good on any skin tone.
#3 Modern prints
The psychedelic prints of the ’70s caught our attention and in a good way! Best worn as it is without too much accessorizing.
#4 Dreamy pastel
Aside from the bold and playful prints featured in the collection, Longchamp also included dreamy colours for a more feminine approach to modern day dressing.
#5 Stripes rule
Modern versatility echoes the Longchamp SS2020 collection. The variation of colourful stripe print adds flair to just about the looks on the runway.
