I wish Jagex made content
LMS and now this, they look fun but I am concerned about how much attention they're putting on from sight, out of head game modes that take players out of their big MMO world and into their own little bubbles. Each person Leagues that are playing are a individual not doing something with a person from the standard OSRS universe. Games of this genre are at their best when there's just one living. RuneScape has a propensity to feel like one player game that you just happen to be playing alongside other individuals sometimes, and I really wish they'd give a love to PvM items which you basically have to do in classes. Notably at lower-mid amounts, higher degrees have GWD and raids as well as shit like Zalcano I guess, but OSRS is pretty much one player game till you reach there.
Kinda bummed contemplating this is not a game mode friendly for many players. Some of us have children and full time jobs, where some play RuneScape for a living. And I know that it's shit fortune for some of us but a new ability or something could have been fair and exciting, not a race to the end point. But decent work on the creativity. I agree I have 8 kids and lots of dogs to look after along with a 60 hour a week job. I can only play with RuneScape for 15 minutes every month. I wish Jagex made content.
The material is aimed to become wider appealing. We ai not actually aiming like we've done previously, this to be a aggressive game style. It's a new spin on Old School and a different approach to play, whilst enjoying less you'll receive less points, every point you earn makes a difference concerning the rewards you'll be able to get on your primary account. The only real way I will observe this panning out (rather than getting destroyed in the polls) is if you are bucketed into a group of 50-100 players when you join. If everybody is competing against everybody, just the sweatiest gamers will take home the very best benefits. On the flip side, if you piled into a small subset of this league people, you stand a better chance of coming out on top.
In any event, this notion is going to need a great deal of fleshing out and refinement into pass.If the goal is not meant to be super aggressive, why in the very first paragraph, mention we'll be"in a hurry to be the first to complete major Old School achievements". That seems quite aggressive, imo. You mention a difference being made by that the points. That is unbalanced towards streamers. What they earn in one league, others will possibly take a year, or more, worth of leagues to obtain points are kept. It seems like I'll be a no with this particular vote. I will give it a one particulars are specifically declared and maybe get swayed. But this sounds like a really terrible idea.
Well they polled a new skill but it failed, does not imply they can not add in a new ability and have something like that happening, just nothing currently. Competition is a great thing for RuneScape and catering to people who have jobs and kids isn't a fantastic thing for RuneScape, if they can only make content to the lowest common denominator RuneScape would be quite boring. Shit luck for you, that's a really unhealthy attitude about RuneScape - which because you personally don't want to take part in content they want to add, you feel the need to comment a passive aggressive passage on reddit about it rather than comment constructively.
