Eurovisión 2023 ya está aquí. Hoy, 4 de mayo por la tarde, ha tenido lugar la jornada de ensayos en la que los 'Big Five', el grupo de países que lleva en el festival desde sus inicios y entre el que también se incluye al ganador del pasado año, ha actuado por primera vez en Liverpool. Estos participantes tienen el privilegio de clasificarse directamente para la gran final, motivo por el que ensayan más tarde que el resto de los participantes.
El grupo de los 'Big Five' está formado por Alemania, Francia, Italia, Reino Unido, España y, en estea edición, Ucrania, por ganar en 2022. Así, Blanca Palma, representante española elegida en el Benidorm Fest, ha tenido hoy su primera toma de contacto con el escenario inglés, el 'Liverpool Arena'.

Las 17:20, hora española, era el momento asignado para la actuación de la ilicitana, y así ha ocurrido. A través de las redes sociales de Eurovisón de TVE se han podido ver unas breves imágenes de Blanca Paloma junto a sus bailarinas y palmeras preparándose para empezar su primer ensayo.
El vídeo completo del ensayo oficial no está disponible, pero, según se indica en la página web de RTVE, «la artista y su equipo artístico, como ya nos habían adelantado con anterioridad, han regresado al origen, a la actuación del Benidorm Fest, mejorándola con creces y aprovechando todos los elementos que ofrece el Liverpool Arena». También se especifica que el protagonismo de los flecos del manto de la yaya Carmen es el deseado y que además, «se ha convertido en una pieza transportable con una altura de 3,5 metros (la máxima permitida por los organizadores del festival) en lugar de estar colgada. Esto facilita el cambio de escenografía entre una actuación y otra y permite una transición limpia durante los primeros segundos de la actuación de nuestra representante».

Incluso, se ha podido escuchar este curioso comentario: «Increíble hasta con zapatillas, increíble». Esto hace referencia al percance que sufrió Blanca Paloma con su equipaje durante el viaje, y por el que parecía que sus zapatos para la actuación no iban a llegar, aunque en las imágnes sí se le puede ver con zapatos de tacón, sin saber aún si serán los que lleve en la actuación del día 13 de mayo.
Como se puede escuchar en el vídeo anterior, las sensaciones de la ilicitana son más que buenas: «Ha sido maravilloso, ha sido como cantar en casa», comentaba con una sonrisa. Además, ha hecho referencia a lo importante que es para ella que se hayan conservado el mantón de la escenografía original: «Los flecos que era lo más importante estaban. Ese mantillo de flecos sobre el pecho nos ha abrazado y nos ha impulsado con fuerza, hemos salido empoderadas».
La próxima cita de la representante española para Eurovisión 2023 será este sábado, 6 de mayo, a las 13:10, hora española, para llevar a cabo el segundo ensayo. Por el momento, el equipo deberá descansar y pulir todos los detalles de cara a la gran final, a la que predecerán las semifinales en las que se decidirá que países se batirán por conseguir hacerse con el micrófono de cristal.
