No, France Has Not Banned People From Sending Work Emails After Hours
English-language media have once again freaked out over a French law that does not exist.
Ah, the French. This nation of bon-vivants is so addicted to a life of leisure that its government apparently passed a law forbidding anyone from answering work emails after hours.
"My pig of a boss emailed about something urgent but it's 7:02 p.m. so pass the bordeaux and let's talk about socialism, hon hon hon," they seem to say.
