Treasure trove of "Jaws" photos uncovered

Director Steven Spielberg’s thriller about a man-eating great white shark celebrated it's 44th anniversary earlier this week. And with it came a surprising new discovery -- a treasure trove of photos of the production never before seen by the public. The pictures were tucked away in the basement of a local inn for the last 45 years, until "Jaws" superfan John Campopiano had a chance encounter with the inn's owner. Michelle Miller reports.

Kavanaugh: Attorney was "relentless, determined" to keep African Americans off Curtis Flowers' jury

The Supreme Court has sided with Curtis Flowers, a man who was tried six times for the same quadruple murder by the same prosecutor. The justices ruled in favor of his jury discrimination case on Friday and tosses out his conviction; Justice Kavanaugh wrote that the district attorney waged a "relentless, determined effort to rid the jury of black individuals." ICE's deportation crackdown will target more than 2,000 undocumented immigrants

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is expected to follow up on a warning President Trump made earlier this week to round up thousands of illegal immigrants. The operation, planned for at least ten cities, could begin as soon as tomorrow. ICE officers have planned to target more than 2,000 undocumented immigrants, including families, who have been given final deportation orders. Manuel Bojorquez reports.

Severe storms sweep through Nashville, leaving 40,000 without power

About 40,000 people are waking up without power in Nashville this morning after severe storms swept through the area. Several tornado warnings were issued as winds up to 80 mph uprooted trees, ripped roofs off homes, and tore down power lines. The storm also sent several tents set up for this weekend's Nashville Pride Festival flying into the air and landing on cars. Meteorologist Jeff Berardelli joins “CBS This Morning Saturday.”

Despite recent fighting within the Democratic party about comments connected to race, the candidates chose not to take aim at each other during South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn’s famous fish fry. While frontrunner Joe Biden felt the heat in the days leading up to the event for some of his recent comments, the former VP largely stayed out of the fryer last night as fellow Democrats focused instead on defeating President Trump. Iran is sending a new warning to the United States as tensions between the two nations continue to rise. Iran's foreign minister promised to firmly confront any aggression or threat by the U.S., including any violation against its borders. The warning follows President Trump's last-minute decision to abort a military strike against Iran in retaliation for Iran's downing of an unmanned U.S. military drone. Nine people killed in Hawaii plane crash

"All nine people aboard a twin-engine plane were killed when their aircraft went down near Dillingham Airfield on the north shore of the island of Oahu. The plane burst into flames when it hit the ground. It had been used in a sky diving flight. The Honolulu fire chief says family members of those on board were nearby, and most likely saw the plane go down. "
