A teenage boy and girl were both charged in connection with a Wednesday armed robbery where the victim was battered with a gun, Chicago police said. The teens, 16 and 13, were arrested shortly after 5 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive after they were identified as the armed robbers who 20 minutes earlier robbed a 19-year-old woman.
