Pascale St-Onge making history as the first out lesbian federal cabinet minister
While representation and diversity continue to gradually improve in federal politics, historic firsts are still happening, the latest being Pascale St-Onge's appointment to cabinet. She is the first out lesbian to become a federal minister, taking on the role as minister of sport and minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec.
