2026 SaskMilk Rotating 4’s Cup Recap
Nipawin Evergreen Curling Club – March 6-8, 2026
The 2026 SaskMilk Rotating 4’s Cup brought junior curlers together from across Saskatchewan for a weekend of fast‑paced, fun competition at the Nipawin Evergreen Curling Club. The Rotating 4’s format provides young athletes an opportunity to experience all positions and refine their skills as they transition toward traditional four‑person curling.
Teams:
The event was a triple knockout with the Sunny Sliders and Bridge City Rockers qualifying out of the A-event, Stone Cold and Garbutt, qualifying out of the B-event, and Ackerman, Backsheet Buds, Coulee Crew and Game of Stones qualifying out of the c event. In the playoffs, Sunny Sliders defeated Backsheet Buds 8-1, The Game of Stones fell 5-4 to Stone Cold, Bridge City Rockers defeated the Coulee Crew 7-3, and Ackerman defeated Team Garbutt 9-2. The semi-finals saw the Sunny Sliders defeat Stone Cold 4-3, and team Ackerman defeated the Bridge City Rockers 6-1 to secure their spot in Sunday s final. In the bronze medal game, the Bridge City Rockers defeated Stone Cold 8-4. The final was a great game played by both teams but it was team Ackerman who scored 2 in the third end and stole 3 more in the fourth to go up 5-2 and secure their 5-3 win over the Sunny Sliders.
