Caitlin Clark's incredibly accurate pass to her brother after beating LSU may have been her best assist
We all know Caitlin Clark can shoot the leather off the ball. She’s been doing it all season long with some of the most difficult 3-point attempts you’ll ever see. LSU saw it up close and personal in the Elite 8 when Clark hit 9 3-pointers on the Tigers to catapult Iowa to a second consecutive Final Four berth.
But one of her most underrated skills is her passing. People love the scoring numbers, obviously, but Clark also averages nine assists per game. She’s an elite passer, too. That was also on full display against LSU with her 12 assists.

But her best assist of the night might’ve been to her brother, who she pitched the game ball too after everything was over. He was sitting with Clark’s parents in the stands after the game.
After celebrating with her team for a bit, Clark pitched the ball up to her brother. The pass was right on the money up against a crowd of people. It was pretty impressive.
Honestly, y’all, this may have been her best pass of the night. Think about it. She threw the ball from the court around the 3-point line into the stands. And it’s not like her family was sitting front row - there’s quite a bit of space between them. Clark made this seem so easy, though.
Everyone was so impressed by this.
