One of the encouraging things about the last couple games was how good the Raps’ core 3 looked together. Not the case tonight. Quiet game for Siakam (just 10 FGA coming off his 33pt gem). After a nice start, Anunoby has looked off in the 2nd half. Has mostly been the Scottie show – 9:37 PM

Not sure Capela appreciated OG putting him on a poster the other night. He has 10 of the Hawks’ 20 points (and 5 of their 11 rebounds) on 5-5 FG. On the other side, Poeltl is also perfect from the field (4-4) and has 8 pts. Anunoby and Barnes have been looking for him on the roll – 7:57 PM

More on this storyline
League sources tell The Athletic that Detroit is expected to be active in the trade market over the next few weeks and are eying a forward. One player I’m hearing that the Pistons are interested in, as is the rest of the league, is Toronto’s OG Anunoby. However, it’s possible Detroit will wait to see if it can land Anunoby in the open market next summer — the two-way wing has a player option for next season that he’ll most certainly decline — and avoid giving up some of its young players. Tobias Harris, who is an unrestricted free agent after this season, is another name the Pistons could target sooner rather than later if he becomes available before the NBA’s February trade deadline. -via The Athletic / December 16, 2023
Mike O’Connor: I’ve just uncovered an absolutely insane stat Per http://NBA.com, Tobias Harris has never drawn a charge in his 5+ years as a Sixer. Not once. It has never happened. -via Twitter / December 12, 2023
Harris, who had 23 points on the night, knows how important it is to set good habits at this stage of the season. Yes, it’s only November and the Sixers still have 68 games to go before the postseason, but these games matter. “It is disappointing,” he added. “It’s something we wanted to play in. I don’t know if many people follow in-season tournaments and EuroCups and whatever, but those things matter in the grand scheme of things of just having that competitive nature and set the tone for the year and for what type of team you are. A lost opportunity for us, but we’ll make sure we’ll cover that ground.” -via Sixers Wire / November 22, 2023
Raptors president and vice chairman Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster have stuck with their talented core of Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby over the past three seasons. But Toronto has lost three games in a row, stands 9-13 on the season and has left teams believing that now, more than ever, either Siakam or Anunoby could be traded by the Feb. 8 deadline. Barnes has been deemed untouchable in any trade conversations, league sources say. -via The Athletic / December 11, 2023
Teams such as the Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers are expected suitors for Siakam or Anunoby but believe Siakam appears to be the likelier player to be dealt, league sources tell The Athletic. -via The Athletic / December 11, 2023
