As if this game weren’t ugly enough, two players have bled in the first two-plus minutes of the second half. Paolo Banchero and Kelly Olynyk have both shown blood “the hard way.” – 9:01 PM

Without checking, I’m guessing the Raptors are scoring about 70 points/100 in the halfcourt tonight. – 8:51 PM

Orlando can really guard. When they’re locked in, as they were in the 2nd Q, and with all that length… watch out. Raptors did well to only turn it over 8 times but are getting almost nothing at the rim (they’re 7-for-18 in the paint). Magic held them to 21 pts in Q2, lead by 2. – 8:41 PM

Magic lead 50-48 after a, uhhh, grimy half. 14 apiece for Franz Wagner and Gary Trent Jr. 8 and 6 for IQ. – 8:38 PM

Magic have cranked up the defence here in this second quarter. To be expected, they’re 23-6 against sub-.500 teams so generally not the type to let down against weak teams. – 8:25 PM

After a rough start, Raptors held the Magic to 7 points over the final 6 minutes of that 1st quarter, outscoring them by 10 over that stretch. Starting backcourt of Trent (who’s got 8 points) and IQ are 3-for-5 from deep. Some good mins from Ramsey off the bench, too. Raps by 3. – 8:09 PM

The Raptors steadied themselves quite well, they’re three after 1
It’s not been NBA Finals level but it’s been close – 8:06 PM

Jalen Suggs becoming a willing an awesome role player in his third year is a great story, and a huge part of the Magic’s success. Watching him vs. IQ will be interesting. – 7:41 PM

An understandably emotional Darko Rajakovic says that RJ Barrett and his family will get all the support the Raptors organization can offer following the passing of Nathan Barrett, RJ’s younger brother. There no timetable for Barrett’s return. He will have all the time he needs. pic.twitter.com/FVfegbpkXk – 5:56 PM
