Paul Pierce 'disappointed' in Kevin Durant team success: He just hasn't met GOAT debate requirements
Clutch Points: “I’ve been kinda disappointed in KD’s team success… He says why isn’t he mentioned in the GOAT conversation… if we put [Kevin Durant] at the same standard as we do Steph and LeBron, he just hasn’t met those requirements.” – Paul Pierce pic.twitter.com/WW9nGGxLY5

Khris with a terrific performance in his return today (22pts/7ast on 8/15 shooting). He’s now shooting a league-leading 57.4% from midrange — MPJ (53.7%) and KD (50.2%) are the only other high-volume guys above 50%. pic.twitter.com/82TyIpg2u2 – 10:10 PM

“We were scrambling. They were driving to the rim. We got to do a better job of keeping the ball in front of us so we don’t have to help so much and they spread us out. You got 5 shooters. Bobby Portis came in and hit every shot.”

Do you agree with @Tish_H_Warren who said, “The world has no free thinkers.”
Meaning, despite the trend of individualism and everyone seeing themselves as a leader, the truth is no one operates in a vacuum. We all are following someone’s (or something’s) ideas or influences. – 2:05 PM

Suns got Bol at the five in the lineup Vogel spoke of earlier with O’Neale, Gordon, Beal and Durant.
No zone either. Bol finds O’Neale on a cut, but O’Neale missed drive. #Suns down six as #Bucks are 10-of-17 on 3s. – 1:49 PM

Duane Rankin: “Grayson took my spot scoring. I had to do other shit. We got ourselves back in the game.” Kevin Durant 11 points, took 1 shot in 4th of #Suns loss to #Bucks. “Defensively, we lost this game. Speaking on the Forgotten Seasons podcast, Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Paul Pierce said that Jason was the best player in the world during the 2001-02 NBA season. “I thought J-Kidd was the best player in the world in 2002,” said Pierce. “I mean, dude had eyes in the back of his head. The way he controlled the game, the way he passed the ball, his IQ is off the charts. He is historically, I believe, underrated. I just felt helpless on what you can do with him out there.” -via Basketball Network / March 16, 2024
The Truth is not in dispute. Paul Pierce is likely joining FS1’s “Undisputed” in a contributor role as the NBA season heats up, The Post has learned. Sources said the deal is not finalized but could be as soon as this week. A Fox Sports spokesperson declined to comment. -via New York Post / March 12, 2024
Paul Pierce on surviving the stabbing and finding solace in basketball: “Truthfully, when I look back at it, you know, I think just the—I think God, you know, I’m a True Believer in God, you know, I think, you know, he knows what your time is and it wasn’t my time. And I think, the only thing—let me tell you something D, people don’t know, but I haven’t spoke on—I talked about the incident and being in the club and being stabbed by like multiple men and three different knives. But what people don’t know, I played because I played through pain, but that was the only thing, my being on the court was the only thing that gave me peace.” -via YouTube / March 10, 2024
