PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, Okla. – An investigation is underway after a man was found dead at a home in southeast Oklahoma. According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, 34-year-old Richard Medlock was found dead at home in Albion by another resident on Tuesday during the early morning hours. MCLOUD, Okla. — The family of a McLoud teenager shot and killed last month continues to fight for justice. Investigators say Kaylen Thomas, 16, was shot in the head at a friend’s house in McLoud on October 5. Two teenagers were taken into custody in connection. OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a 19-year-old man was taken into custody following a wreck that claimed the life of a motorcyclist. HINTON, Okla. –A deadline for a mitigation plan for a proposed wind farm near Hinton has been extended a fifth time. Last month, Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter announced an agreement between NextEra Energy Resources and the Oklahoma Strategic Military Planning Commission to halt construction of a wind farm at the moment. CNN has filed a lawsuit against President Trump and several of his aides, seeking the immediate restoration of chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s access to the White House. The lawsuit is a response to the White House’s suspension of Acosta’s press pass, known as a Secret Service “hard pass,” last week. OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews extinguished a house fire in south Oklahoma City Tuesday. Firefighters responded to the area near SW 149th and Western just after 10 a.m. Officials say when crews responded, there was visible smoke. Nobody was inside the home and there were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a voluntary recall on a widely used blood pressure medication over contamination concerns. The pharmaceutical company Sandoz announced the recall of the drug Losartan after trace amounts of a possible cancer-causing chemical were found. The recall is only for the 100 milligram/ 25 milligram tablets with the lot number JB8912. It was also not distributed before October 8. DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. – Game wardens in Delaware County say suspects involved in a poaching case have received multiple citations following a 9-hour investigation. On Friday, Delaware County game wardens were investigating a deer poaching case after information was shared on Snapchat. Investigators say the deer was killed in Delaware County, but the wardens ultimately ended up following the evidence to Tahlequah.
