Water main break closes portion of NW Expressway
A portion of Northwest Expressway is closed as crews repair a water main break on Monday.
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A portion of Northwest Expressway is closed as crews repair a water main break on Monday.
According to the city of OKC, the far-right eastbound lane of NW Expressway near Lake Hefner Parkway will be shut down for several hours as the Oklahoma City Utilities Department works to repair the break.
The break was located in front of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center near the curbline, but the lane closest to the break must be closed to make sure crews have enough space to work safely.
"Those nearby, including medical facilities, businesses and residents, may experience low to no water pressure while the repair is underway. Utilities officials estimate that service will be restored between 5 and 7 p.m." said the city.
