Former Stillwater junior high school teacher settles civil lawsuit
A former Stillwater junior high school teacher released from prison after serving time for engaging in sexual communication with a minor has settled his sexual misconduct lawsuit.
STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) - A former Stillwater junior high school teacher released from prison after serving time for engaging in sexual communication with a minor has settled his sexual misconduct lawsuit.
Alberto Morejon, pled guilty to Engaging in Sexual Communication with a Minor by Use of Technology. At the time, he was working for Stillwater Public Schools as a junior high school teacher at the time the offense occurred.
According to Oklahoma Watch, Stillwater Public Schools, where Alberto Morejon taught from 2015 to 2020, recently settled its civil lawsuit brought by that student. The district has kept details of the agreement confidential.
Morejon, upon release in May 2023 was required to to register for 25 years as a sex offender.
