Breaux Bridge man arrested on multiple narcotics, weapon charges
Williams was previously arrested in April of 2023 on several narcotics charges when he was discovered with 37 crack cocaine rocks and 19.7 grams of marijuana.
ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY)-- A drug search Friday led to the arrest of Breaux Bridge man, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.
An investigation into some illegal drug activity resulted in deputies conducting two narcotic searches at homes in the 700 block of Cecile Boulevard and 2000 Doyle Melancon Road. During the search, authorities found 420.9 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of MDMA, 5.5 grams of crack cocaine and three firearms, two of which were stolen.
Damian Ulyess Williams, 35, the suspect in the investigation, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession with intent to distribute Schedule 1 (MDMA), one count
- Possession with Intent to distribute Schedule 1 (marijuana), one count
- Manufacture; distribution; PWIT Schedule II Narcotics, one count
- Prohibited acts- possession of drug paraphernalia, one count
- Possession of a firearm committing/attempt crime, one count
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, one count
- Illegal possession of a stolen firearm, two counts
