Shots fired in Broussard leave no injuries; one arrested
A man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to shots being fired in Broussard in early February.
BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) – A man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to shots being fired in Broussard in early February.
According to Broussard Police, officers were called to a residence located in the 100 block of Caneview Dr. on Feb. 6 regarding shots being fired.
An investigation revealed shots were fired from a vehicle, but no one was hit. The investigation also led officers to believe that the shooting stemmed from a previous fight between known individuals. Markius Carter, 21 was arrested on Tuesday on a charge of assault by drive by shooting. Carter was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
