Church Point Police looking for attempted murder suspect
CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) -- The Church Point Police Department is requesting assistance in locating a suspect accused of attempted murder.
Curtis Guidry, 38, of Church Point is wanted on warrants for six counts of attempted second degree murder and one count each of aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of or discharge of a dangerous weapon.
Church Point Police said officers responded to reports of a shooting on Feb. 17 in the Wilson Street area of Church Point, where several shots were fired at a vehicle and its occupants. The shots also struck a occupied residence. No one was injured. Authorities said further investigation determined the shooter to be Guidry.
