Melville woman charged with attempted murder in drive-by shooting
Kari Ganson, 32, of Melville, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
MELVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- A Melville woman has been charged with attempted murder in a drive-by shooting, authorities said.
Kari Ganson, 32, of Melville, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, attempted second degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
Police said Ganson drove up to a house on Melville Street and fired several shots, reportedly in a dispute over $200, and then fled the scene. Nobody was injured in the shooting.
Bond details were not released.
