Three people escape early-morning Franklin mobile home fire
Three people escaped a mobile home fire in Franklin unharmed this morning, authorities said.
FRANKLIN, La. (KLFY) -- Three people escaped a mobile home fire in Franklin unharmed this morning, authorities said.
Franklin Fire Department along with Centerville Fire Department were dispatched at 2:39 a.m. today to St Joseph Lane for a house fire. Engine crews arrived to find a mobile home with fire and smoke coming from multiple sides.
Fire crews made entry into the structure and quickly brought it under control, officials said.
Three people were home at the time and escaped unharmed. The Red Cross has been contacted for assistance for the residents, officials said.
Total of three engines, one rescue unit and 15 firefighters responded to the scene. Acadian Ambulance and St Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office also responded. No injuries were reported to civilian or fire personnel. The cause of the fire is under investigation, authorities said.
