Westbound I-70 through downtown Topeka back open
TOPEKA, KS (KSNT) -- According to a tweet from KDOT, Westbound I-70 through downtown Topeka is back open after it was closed over the weekend for pavement patching work.
The closure took place from Southeast Adams Street to Topeka Boulevard.
A spokesperson with KDOT tells 27 News that, if needed, it's possible additional closures could take place in the future for more patching work on I-70 and the Polk-Quincy Viaduct. If this happens, KDOT will work with the city to schedule those closures.
27 News will keep you up to date if more road closures come up in the future.
