Austin Humane Society’s Puppy Bowl to return

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Humane Society’s Puppy Bowl is expected to return for its 17th year on Feb. 10. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the AHS shelter, located at 124 West Anderson Lane.
Guests were invited to the free, family-friendly festival that will feature puppy races, local vendors, kid’s activities, adoptable pets and more, according to AHS.
“You can upgrade your experience with our V.I.P. (Very Important Puppy-fan) for just $30 or purchase a tasting ticket to eat your way through our Tailgate Competition for $10. Puppy adoptions will be discounted to $150 for the event, plus AHS will have adult cats and dogs available for adoption as well,” AHS said.
At 2 p.m., the outdoor event will move to Yard Bar, located at 6700 Burnet Road, for Puppy Bowl LIVE!
“For just $30 you can purchase a Puppy Player Pass which includes a reserved spot for your dog to play football at Yard Bar, free entry for the day to Yard Bar’s Dog Park, and goodies for your pup participant,” AHS said.
