Campbell crime report for the week of April 7

March 20

1000 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone took property from the bed of a truck that was locked up.

Overnight in the 100 block of Shelly Avenue: A vehicle was stolen.

900 block of La Plata Plaza: Someone added a phone line on the victim’s account.

Overnight in the 1900 block of Whiteoaks Road: The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.

3:30 p.m. at East Hamilton and Manchester avenues: A transient man, 30, was stopped on a bike that was reported stolen out of Arizona. He had warrants out of San Luis Obispo, was under the influence, had a pipe and stole alcohol and ice cream from a local store.

4:32 p.m. in the 400 block of West Rincon Avenue: A man was upset at an employee regarding his wheelchair. He told her that he was going to shoot her to put her out of her misery.

6:07 p.m. in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue: A group of teenagers are believed to have broken a fence and windows to a vacant home.

March 21

5:34 a.m. at Salmar and Hamilton avenues: A man, 32, was passed out behind the wheel and was found to be DUI.

Overnight in the 600 block of East McGlincy Lane: Someone used a rock to break a window and enter a business to steal items.

Overnight in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: Someone drew graffiti and broke a toilet.

11 a.m. in the 600 block of Jeffrey Avenue: Someone  entered the victim’s house and took personal items.

11:41 a.m. in the 1500 block of Camden Avenue: A transient man, 44, was caught stealing items out of a vehicle.

4:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 33, walked into a business with a knife and asked for money.

3:42 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two suspects fled a store with several products.

500 block of Railway Avenue: A bike was stolen from a carport.

6:35-7:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two juveniles went into a store and shoplifted. One of them punched a clerk, and both suspects fled. They were arrested after destroying sinks and toilets in the 300 block of Union Avenue.

9:54 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Sunnyoaks Avenue: Two drivers nearly collided at the intersection. One driver exited his car and vandalized the other motorist’s car. The victim drove down the street, and the driver brandished the golf club at her and followed her around briefly.

March 22

Overnight in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: The rear license plates were stolen from two vehicles.

4:15 p.m. at Creekside Way and East Hamilton Avenue: An officer contacted two suspects for possibly using narcotics. One was being taken into custody for being under the influence and was attempting to swallow a baggie of narcotics. The other possessed paraphernalia.

10:59 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Campbell Avenue: A transient man, 26, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:51 p.m. in the 2000 block of Southwest Expressway: An officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle.

March 23

Overnight in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone broke the rear window to a 2022 Honda Civic.

12:55 p.m. in the 800 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 38, was contacted in his vehicle and found to be unable to care for his safety or the safety of others due to his level of alcohol intoxication.

4:10 p.m. in the 100 block of Harrison Avenue: A woman, 29 broke into a residence and barricaded herself in the master bedroom. There was a served court order on file protecting the victim from the woman, who was not a resident of the house. The woman resisted officers and was taken into custody.

1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone used the victim’s credit card to make fraudulent purchases throughout the day.

100 block of Redding Road: The catalytic converter was stolen from a 2007 Honda.

10:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of Camden Avenue: A man, 26, and a woman, 22, were stopped for a vehicle code violation. The man was driving without an interlock device, and the woman had a misdemeanor warrant.

11:51 p.m. in the 900 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 53, was contacted in a vehicle behind a business and found to be under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

12:56 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Two men and a woman were stopped for a vehicle code violation. One man had a misdemeanor warrant and was under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of a credit card not in his name and of drug paraphernalia. The other man had a felony warrant and was under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of credit cards not in his name and of methamphetamine. The woman had a felony warrant and was under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of a credit card not in her name.

3:28 a.m. in the 00 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road: Officers located a stolen silver 2017 Subaru Impreza.

March 24

Overnight in the 100 block of John Kirk Court: Someone smashed the right front window of a vehicle and stole personal items.

Overnight in the 500 block of West Campbell Avenue: Someone broke into a vehicle and tampered with the ignition.

1 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone entered a store and stole merchandise.

8:55 p.m. in the 2100 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone forced entry a vehicle via window smash. It is unknown if anything was taken.

2:39 a.m. in the 800 block of Gale Drive: Two men and a woman were heard arguing and possibly getting physical with each other. One man was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The other man had a felony warrant, was in possession of methamphetamine and lied about his name. The woman had a felony warrant, was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, pepper spray and personal ID information not belonging to her and lied about her name.

4:30 a.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Highway 17: A man, 33, and a woman, 25, were captured on a Flock camera driving a stolen vehicle. The man was the driver and was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools and personal ID information. The woman was the passenger and was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 25

5:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of Whiteoaks Road: Two suspects came onto the property and entered a vehicle.

10:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Llewllyn Avenue: The suspect, 23,  got into an argument with the victim and was throwing items inside the house, violating a peaceful contact order.

1121 900 block of W. Hamilton Avenue: (S) Carlos Turejo, 31 years transient, was reported acting strange around juveniles. (S) was contacted and found to be under the influence, possessed a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

4 a.m. in the 1300 block of Camden Avenue: The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.

10:55 a.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Fewtrell Drive: A man, 37, was in possession of methamphetamine, a shaved key and a credit card not in his name.

2:25 a.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A transient man, 31, was causing a disturbance outside of a store. He was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 26

Overnight in the 1200 block of Shadle Avenue: Someone broke into a vehicle and took items.

12:27 a.m. at Highway 17 and San Tomas Expressway: A man, 39, was contacted in a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road. The vehicle was reported stolen out of San Jose on March 23 and contained burglary tools and drug paraphernalia.

1:49 a.m. at Loma Verde Drive and Eden Avenue: A man, 23,  was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be DUI.
