Person arrested in Fremont shooting that left one dead, one wounded
A suspect has been arrested in a Sunday shooting in Fremont that left one man dead and another man wounded.
FREMONT — A suspect was arrested Sunday night in a shooting earlier in the day the left one man dead and another man wounded, police said Monday.
Police did not say if the suspect is a man or woman or provide any other information about them.
No information has been released yet about the men shot, including their ages, residences and if they knew each other. The identity of the person killed has also not been released.
The shooting happened about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 34000 block of Fremont Boulevard.
Police found two men shot. They were taken to a hospital, where one of them died.
A motive for the shooting has not been released.
Police have not yet said how they were able to identify the suspect, where they made the arrest or if the suspect knew the victims.
