What is a Passport? A Passport is a midsize crossover SUV built in the Lincoln, Alabama assembly plant and sold in North America by Honda. It’s bolted to a 9 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and then routed into an all wheel drive traction control system, with intelligent traction management and hill start assist.
This week Honda sent me a 2024 Passport SUV to test drive and review. The base window sticker price for this top of the line Black Edition is $47,970. The options on the test SUV are: just a full tank of gas at no charge. The manufactures suggested retail price (MSRP), including the $1,395 destination and handling charge, is: $49,365.
After adding in the state and local sales tax, plus the DMV and dealer fees, the out the door and in your garage total purchase price came to: $55,536. At just $55 Grand and change this 2024 Honda Passport Black Edition is a top tier model with a lot of pizzazz, an attractive combination of energy, style, and comfort to add to your everyday daily commute, without breaking the bank. It’s spacious, capable, and comfortable, with great resale value. It’s just what the doctor ordered; a new 2024 Honda Passport SUV.
