FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
It has been the warmest day of the year today, and the second wettest day of the year. Expect temps to slowly fall overnight tonight back into the mid to upper 40s with light rain showers, and fog thickening up. Temps will drop to the mid 40s by daybreak on Thursday, roughly 20-25 degrees above normal.
Thursday expect rain showers, and fog to linger through most of the days, with temps again into the lower 50s for afternoon highs. Temps will remain in the lower 50s through midnight with light rain showers. Showers will slowly end before daybreak on Friday, with cloudy skies expected through the day and afternoon highs near 50.
It will start dry on Saturday with rain showers returning in the afternoon and evening, with highs in the middle to upper 40s. Rain will continue overnight into at least the first half of the day on Sunday with high temps pushing closer to normal around 40.
Once the rain ends on Sunday, we will start a drying trend into next week, one that will be well needed after the thaw and melting of snow, plus days of rain. Clouds will be the rule with near normal temps in the upper 30s on Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday we will start a mini-warmup as temps will push to around 40 on Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies, and into the middle 40s on Wednesday with partly sunny skies.
