At least 3 injured in school bus crash in east Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- At least three people are injured after a school bus collided with another vehicle in far east Columbus Monday evening.
A vehicle and school bus crashed head-on at Chatterton Road and Falcon Bridge Drive near Blacklick Estates at about 4:30 p.m. A spokesperson for Groveport Madison Local Schools confirmed the bus belonged to the district, but they said no students were on board.
According to the Columbus Division of Fire, medics took two people to Mount Carmel East, one in stable and the other in serious condition. Another person was taken to Grant Medical Center. The Groveport Madison spokesperson said the bus driver was not injured.
Columbus Fire did not have information on the ages of those injured as of 5:15 p.m.
