Clouds linger, breezy and cooler, more sun Thursday
A cold front swept through the state, bringing an end to the showers. Skies will feature a mix of clouds and some breaks of sun, with temperatures struggling to reach 50 degrees in a cooler northwesterly flow.
A cold front swept through the state overnight, bringing an end to the showers. Skies will feature a good deal of cloud cover, with some sunshine in the southeast half of the state. Temperatures will hover in the 40s in a cool northwesterly flow.
High pressure south of the region will build in and lead to clearing skies overnight, with morning readings dipping below freezing. Plenty of sunshine is in store for us on Thursday, with light winds.
Clouds will begin to move in later on Friday ahead of a northern system that will bring showers to start the day on Saturday. Temperatures will remain in the seasonal range, in the 50s through the weekend.
Some rain could linger early on Easter Sunday in the southern part of the state, before moving away. Clouds will stay behind through the day ahead of the next low-pressure system that could rain after sunset. A few waves of low pressure will follow early next week, with periods of rain through Tuesday.
