FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday afternoon!
A weak boundary draped across the Midwest will bring on and off chances for rain throughout this afternoon. But, the weather will get a lot more active going into tomorrow when our next system rolls through.
Isolated showers will still move through going into this evening. But as most of us are hitting the road to head home, rain chances will start to pick up a little more. More widespread chances for rain move in overnight and will remain steady into tomorrow morning.
On Thursday, a low pressure center to our south will lift into Central Ohio. This will bring more rain back by the afternoon. A cold front will drag along with this front, increasing chances for rain and adding the potential for storms by the evening.
Thursday's storms could potentially turn stronger to severe. There is a 2/5 level risk for severe weather across Central Ohio. Threats will mainly be concerned with strong to damaging winds and heavy rain. Lower end threats would include large hail and the chance for an isolated, spin-up tornado.
Rain lingers going into Friday, but will clear out going into the weekend. Temperatures will be seasonable to start off on Saturday, but will climb back to the 70s for the first couple days of next week. Spotty chances for rain return for the first half of next week.
