At approaching 50, I'm probably too old for heroes, but fuck that, he was mine.  In my opinion his only misstep was Wild At Heart (I like Dune) and I still think that was more to do with the source material.  People throw genius around too often when it comes to film, David Lynch was one though, he liked asking questions more than giving answers...
