Irrespective of one's feelings for fev (and their obnoxious fans), it wouldn't look right for the ideology of "Super League" to have yet another "village team" to add to Leigh and Castleford, not to mention the potential trouble if they got thrashed at PO Road by the likes of Cas and Hull.

I'm guessing they gambled all or nothing re promotion, so expect a huge cull from Fev in the coming weeks. Hey, how about getting Springer back?

I think the front row is the general weakness. A lot of this can be remedied quickly, with a bit more preparedness and attention to detail, players like Philbin and Bullock ‘can’ be really effective, but we need to balance out the impact with with resilience and consistency that Vaughan provides.

Harrison will be better for a full season in the Super League under his belt. Musgrove adds another big body. I just think that we need to get a grind/dirty job man in that 13 shirt. Crowther makes sense. Читать дальше...

Looking at FC and Smiths plan for the future.The past few years we have been dire.Smith has been brought in and started the way back for us. It seems the path forward is to go with the young and local lads interspersed with some seasoned pros and overseas signings.Litten.Tindall.Martin.Scott.Trueman.Staverly.Gardiner.Armstrong.Etc Hopefully the backbone of our future. Absolutely gut wrenching that. As a Utd fan I'd even say it was up there with the Aguero goal and for all the players to score it as well. And the celebration. A real sickener.

I managed to watch 6 mins of Wigan on Saturday before I turned over. Game over at that point. To be fair they threw more shapes and structures in 6 mins than we did in 80 mins the previous night. Just looking that 11 of the 12 current SL teams have contested a major final since 2017. Isn't this a good thing?

Majority of current squad could be playing themselves out of contention for next year
