So far so good on our signings.

To say Fev are cutting costs their signings suggest the opposite.

Reynolds, Minikin and Addy are 3 good signings who to be honest I’d have been happy with.

I believe they are doing what we are. Working from a blank slate and likely going to build strong on the quiet side.

They will likely be our main competitors along with Toulouse.

I am looking forward to seeing our next lot of signings and hopefully we have some quality coming in with pace on edge... Читать дальше...

No mention of him so far but I was told that Powell wanted Shenton as his assistant, which has obviously now happened, so I'm guessing that Sheridan isn't coming ??

Curt. Agree with you the game has not grown, personally am not really convinced it has the ability to grow, London aside the last 50 years has shown that.
Even with IMG there should still be prom and relegation of a sort, but they have to build in on field performance as well as the off field stuff they are currently concentrating on. Will img raise overall profile of the game, we shall see. 50 years from now will RL be a nationwide sport, not a chance.
Hope we can pull off a shock or two next year though and we can enjoy the ride. Читать дальше...

Jared confirmed for next season. Really pleased to see him sticking around and seems to be held in really high regard by Mike and the other players.

Thought he played well above his weight at times this season which hopefully stands him for good stead in SL.

Sinfield was DOR at Leeds under Ager? and it was all pretty much a disaster IIRC.

Looked good in spells last season.

Not sure if he was suffering from niggling injuries as his form did seem a bit in and out at times.

Ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and could do with some good news coming out of the club. Just a positive message from the board not just the stuff about IMG but there thoughts on last season and ambitions for next year and how we are going to achieve them.

It’s pleasing to see that instead of moaning about how unfair it all is Mike Eccles is just going to get on with things on the playing/ training side of things.
One thing does bug me from the article, having a strong academy apparently counts for nothing according to IMG.
Seems very wrong to me.

Bradford just put a increase of 74% but they are signing a decent team up looking at it.

Seems to be very little out of the club at the moment

I realise that a weak London side could help our cause and that talking about London on the Trinity forum may not be popular.
However, it would appear that, because of the new IMG gradings, it is impossible for London to survive in SL beyond next season (even if they win the GF and Cup) and therefore, they are likely to go into next season with a part time squad and possibly be weaker than we were last season.

Is this in any way, shape or, form, good for the sport ?
