It's great to keep and eye on the youth side of things, especially having received our Elite Academy Licence back. Be good to hear more from Ryan and Glenn on the scholarship and academy. Looking at that list Lewis Owens from West Bank Bears from Widnes after looking them up. Then the announcements of the u15s intake at home to York Tom Glover from Thatto Heath another team in the Northwest. Looks like the Bulls have been more widespread in their youth recruitment recently at u15s and 16s Scholarship and the Academy. Looking at recent player announcements. Do we have new connections in the Northwest? That maybe helped with the Eliot Peposhi, and Daniel Moss trials. At academy level Lewis Owens from West Bank Bears over in Widnes and Tom Glover from Thatto Heath in St Helens u15s Scholarship. The whole merchandising operations needs an overhaul IMO. The club are getting pretty much everything right and fair play to them but that side of things is poor. The quality of the Kappa stuff seems so so but I can let it slide to a degree (although they charge top whack for it). The fact they have hardly any sizes in those items leaves the club losing out on money and that’s poor.
The quality of the stuff the club gets produced itself (t-shirts, polos, hoodies, caps, hats, pj’s etc) is pathetic. Читать дальше...

The reaction to tickets going on sale has been outstanding. To shift 17,000 in a couple of weeks and around Christmas time has been some effort. I think Rads himself had it right in saying he expects fans of all clubs to attend as they’ll want to see this Penrith team in the flesh and especially Cleary. It’s going to be a special night.

I think he consistently has finished the few chances we’ve sent his way. There some fault to be laid at our less than stellar attacking structure last year not giving him the opportunity to show off his finishing ability.

Why is there nowhere in the club shop to try the gear on? Even the tiny old shop in the Grand Arcade had a changing room. Been in this morning to return some stuff that had been bought for me (just way too small - quality was fine). Couple of other families in (all buying away shirts btw) and both asked about changing rooms. Can't be that hard to organise can it, particularly with the 'inique' Kappa sizing
